BIOGRAPHY

Mosope Ismail, is currently in her 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University.  In May 2017, she will graduate with an Integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in Mechanical Design. Mosope also studied in Rome, Italy where she learnt about roman history, urban planning and roman structures. She acquired a minor in architectural Studies.

Outside of class, Mosope is an active member of American Society of Heating Refrigeration and air conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), National association of homebuilders (NAHB), Student society of architectural Engineers (SSAE) and chi alpha. She participated in the race to zero DOE competition as a mechanical designer and won the leading award for best-integrated design.

In the past summer, she interned for a renowned architectural engineering firm, Smithgroupjjr located in Detroit, MI, where she gained valuable industrial experience in integrative design. During the semester, Mosope spends time doing research with the department on occupancy typologies, building benchmarking and energy conservation.

In Mosope's spare time, she enjoys traveling, arts, playing sports, hanging out with family and friends, singing and writing.
